The whole system.
The mark, colors, type, and the Setting illustration language — with the values you need to render LADLE anywhere. Every token here is the exact value used in the product; if you copy them into your file, your rendering will match ours.
A bowl. A handle. A period.
The mark reduces to one primitive shape (the ring — a plate seen from above) and one line (the handle — the ladle’s stem, rotated -16° from vertical). The wordmark uses Instrument Serif at letter-spacing -0.01em, always in ivory, always followed by a period: ladle.
- The mark is always ivory. Never orange, never gold.
- Minimum clearspace equals the height of the bowl (the ring diameter).
- Minimum print size 16px. Below that, the handle detail collapses; use the ring alone.
- Do not stretch, skew, or recolor the mark. Do not add a drop shadow.
Three brand colors, three roles. Never blur them.
Three families. Each has one job.
Headlines ≥21px. Editorial pauses, hero H1, section H2.
Everything from 14-19px. Body copy, button labels, navigation.
All uppercase labels (10-12px with letter-spacing 0.06-0.14em), numeric data cells, code, timestamps.
Eight compositions. All grown from the plate ring and the ladle curve.
Full spec + rules in DESIGN.md §14. Every composition is pure SVG, seeded for deterministic layout, and renders under 5KB. Field and Flow (not shown above) are ambient background and pipeline compositions respectively.
The mark, in every size you might need.
The asset pack is being generated for the next release. For now, if you need a copy of the mark or a Setting composition for editorial use — press coverage, a partner landing page, an academic figure — email press@ladle.chat with what you need it for and what format. We reply same business day with either the SVG or a rendered PNG at the size you asked for.
Once the packaged download is ready, it will live at /brand/ladle-assets.zip and this section will link it.
Editorial use is free. Endorsement claims aren’t.
- Editorial use is permitted without asking us. Press coverage, academic writing, product reviews, comparison articles — use the mark and screenshots freely.
- Do not modify the mark. No color changes (always ivory), no proportion changes, no additions.
- Do not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation that doesn’t exist. “Uses LADLE” is fine; “Partnered with LADLE” is not, unless we’ve signed something.
- Commercial use of the mark on merchandise, packaging, or advertising requires written permission — email press@ladle.chat.
- Setting compositions are decorative and open for use. They are LADLE’s visual language but not proprietary in the trademark sense; you may use them in editorial contexts without permission, though we’d appreciate an attribution link.
