EFFECTIVE 2026-01-01These terms govern your use of LADLE. If you're reading them start-to-finish, thank you — most people don't. Nothing here is a surprise, but everything here is binding.
The deal.
For $20 per month, you get access to LADLE, a general-purpose AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude Sonnet API, subject to fair-use as defined in section 03. Of every $20, $8 is routed to the UN World Food Programme via ShareTheMeal. That commitment is contractual on our part — not aspirational.
Cancellation.
Cancel any time from the Settings screen. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, then stops. You are not charged again.
Your final month’s $8 still funds meals with the next month’s WFP transfer. That’s not a refund the other way — you paid for the month, you get the month.
Fair use.
LADLE is priced for interactive human use — writing, research, coding, conversation. Automated scripts, resale of the endpoint, and bulk pipelines are not covered by the subscription price.
If a subscriber sustains usage that materially breaks our unit economics for a full cycle, we email first and offer to work out an arrangement or refund. We do not silently throttle.
Content you send.
You own it. You license LADLE and Anthropic the right to process it long enough to answer your prompt and satisfy security and abuse-prevention obligations. See the Privacy page for the details of what is retained.
Content the model returns.
You may use it for anything lawful. Language models hallucinate. Verify anything load-bearing (medical, legal, financial). Web-search citations link to the sources — check the sources, don’t trust the summary.
What LADLE won’t help with.
Anthropic’s usage policies apply, and we don’t override them. Broadly: no CSAM, no facilitation of violence against real people, no impersonation for fraud, no bulk influence operations. If your use case is unclear, ask us and we’ll answer honestly.
If we shut down.
We announce a full billing cycle in advance. Unused portions of the current month are refunded pro-rata. The final month’s WFP donation is published on the normal date. Chats export to plain text on request.
Liability.
To the extent legally allowed, LADLE’s liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We do not warrant the service will be uninterrupted or defect-free. We commit to fix things promptly and transparently.
Governing law.
Delaware, USA. Disputes we can’t settle by email go to arbitration in a mutually convenient venue.
