Reading your impact statement.
UPDATED 2026-08-31Every workspace has an impact page at Workspace settings → **Impact**. This is the CSR / social-impact story of your workspace — a real number attributable to your team, not a marketing estimate.
**What it shows:**
- **Total meals** — how many meals your workspace has funded to date via the UN World Food Programme. - **Total funded** — the dollar amount. At $0.80 per meal, this is meals × $0.80. - **Months active** — how many billing cycles the workspace has accrued in. - **Monthly rollup** — one row per billing period. Each row includes the meal count for that period, the dollar amount, and how many invoices contributed (if a seat count changed mid-cycle, you'll see two invoices in the same month).
**Where the numbers come from:**
Every time your workspace's Stripe subscription is billed (monthly or annually), we write a row to the meal ledger with the workspace's ID, the meal count (seats × 10 for monthly; seats × 100 for annual, since annual bills 10 months), and the dollar amount. The impact page reads directly from that ledger. No modelled numbers, no estimates.
**Who can see it:**
Every active workspace member. Admins get more surface (edit workspace, manage billing) but the impact story is not admin-gated — it's the thing your team members joined LADLE for. Making them ask their admin to see it would defeat the purpose.
**How to hand it to finance / CSR:**
The page is styled to print cleanly. Use your browser's print dialog (Cmd/Ctrl + P → "Save as PDF") to produce a shareable file. A signed monthly statement email that arrives to admins automatically ships with the next email release (currently blocked on Resend go-live).
**What it does NOT show:**
- Individual member spending (that's on Workspace settings → Usage, admin-only, aggregate-only, no chat content). - Chat content or per-message data of any kind. - Country-level meal breakdown (WFP determines the meal delivery mix; we don't have per-donation attribution).
If your CFO wants documentation to attach to your annual report, email hello@ladle.chat and we'll help produce it. The numbers on the impact page are already the source of truth.
